Why Our Site Needed an Overhaul

A digital declutter and deep clean

The process of overhauling our website was like the most satisfying declutter and deep clean. The kind where you move your furniture off the walls to dust the hidden baseboards and inventory your messiest drawers to responsibly let go of everything that’s no longer serving you.

We rearranged every inch of our site to create a new structure that truly showcases our studio. Every single page got detail cleaned from top to bottom. We upgraded outdated section designs with crisp new layouts and decluttered remnants of old offers and messaging.

As a web design agency, we regularly overhaul sites, but even we were surprised by how good it feels to have fresh air circulating through our digital space. We're so proud to start 2026 with a new website.

A tour of our new website

Here's a tour of the problem areas we addressed with our site redesign.

Seriously underselling

Problem:

We weren’t spelling out or showing off what we were selling. People thought websites weren’t our primary service, especially since our name is “Crème Brands.” Our web design offer was getting buried in a services page highlighting multiple offers.

Solution:

We made websites their own services page in the top-level navigation to immediately make it clear. We made our unique process and its benefits crystal clear. Our website sitemap and content now give equal attention to branding and websites—which is also an accurate reflection of how our revenue is split.

Our funnel wasn’t working

Problem:

Our lead magnet just wasn’t converting anymore. It didn’t build up to all of our offers—mostly just branding and not website services. Our freebie really only appealed to clients in select industries we work with and was no longer using relevant messaging.

Solution:

We built an extensive free resource library that allows people to take what they need. Our freebies now range from a free SEO checklist to luxury branding secrets. On the back end, we built brief, helpful email sequences that continue the value and then feed into our main, year-long series of valuable free info for people looking to uplevel their website and brand.

People didn’t think we worked with their industry

Problem:

People were coming to us not knowing we had expertise in their industry—especially when it came to referrals from friends outside their own industry.

Solution:

We added industry filtering to our portfolio to show how our expertise and experience are ready to go to work for your specific business and design needs.

Leads were going AWOL

Problem:

Prospects couldn’t book a call until after they filled out our inquiry form and received our collections guide. Some leads were getting lost at that step and never booking their call, and it required manual follow-up.

Solution:

Our contact form now prequalifies leads to select a price range that aligns with our services, and they book the call right then. Before the call, they receive reminders about the meeting as well as helpful information.

The cobbler’s children didn’t have NICE shoes

Problem:

We had a site, but it was old and raggedy. It wasn’t putting a spring in our step or anywhere near the level of polish and professionalism we put into every client site. Our site was—well, to us as designers—embarrassing.

Solution:

We added fresh layouts, cleaned, restructured, and laid out EVERYTHING. While it’s the same branding and familiar color palette, now it really shines and feels crispy and AMAZING.

We hope you take the time to explore our new site. This entire process has seriously put a pep in our step, and we believe that everyone deserves to feel this confident about their online space.
