How to Make the Most of Your Brand Launch
Now that your brand has a fresh new look, it’s time to share it with the world. But how?! Let’s talk about how to announce your rebranding in a meaningful way—building excitement, connecting with your audience, and boosting brand awareness through the process. Because your rebrand deserves more than just a single Instagram post.
Build Anticipation
In the lead up to launch day, don’t keep everything under wraps! You want to invite people in, bring them along for the creative process, and make them feel part of the launch when the time comes.
In the weeks (or even months) leading up to your launch, start sharing sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes moments. Think: a sliver of your new logo, a screenshot of a moodboard, or an Instagram story sharing that you’re reviewing the first draft of your site.
These teaser moments help bring your audience along for the journey and create a natural runway for launch day. Use Instagram Stories, your newsletter, or even a countdown to generate buzz.
Add a Personal Touch
Before you go live with your brand publicly, take a moment to personally connect with your inner circle first. Your biggest supporters—loyal clients, collaborators, mentors, and industry friends—deserve to be the first to know about your big business move. Not only is this a kind gesture, but it also helps ensure that those closest to you feel included and aligned with your direction. No one wants to feel blindsided by a rebrand—or worse, not even sure who they are following or who your business is anymore!
Whether it’s a personal text message, a short and sweet email, or even a handwritten note, this step can go a long way in generating excitement and engagement. You might even consider giving them a sneak peek of your new logo or letting them know when the reveal is coming so they’re ready to cheer you on.
Get Your Ducks in a Row
Just before your big launch announcement, get your ducks in a row. Make a list of everywhere your old logo appears. And update that with your new logo! We know you’ve already probably got social and website covered. But, don’t forget everything from CRM to email footer to printed items.

Launch Day
Social media
On launch day, you’ll want to share the big announcement across your social channels. Utilize the launch images we provide during the last week of our project together, and pair them with thoughtful messaging—it’s all about telling your story.
The secret to how to announce a rebrand on social media:
Use your launch as an opportunity to tell the story of your brand.
You’ll want to begin by sharing where you’ve been and what’s staying the same, then move onto where you’re heading and what’s changing in this new era.
Some details to consider sharing:
The mission and heart of your business: why did you start your business in the first place?
Some of your proudest moments since then: mark out some of the milestones and accomplishments in your business that lead up to the refresh.
What inspired the rebrand: how did you know it was time for a change and what’s your new brand all about?
What’s staying the same and what’s changing: if your name is changing, be sure to include the story about how you arrived at the new name.
What’s next for your business: where are you headed in the future?
Give the good old algorithm a little boost
Now is the perfect time to give your social media a little strategic boost to continue creating excitement and momentum for your business. With a little pre-planning, you can come up with a new series to inspire fresh content. Consider themes for a daily or weekly series that provides value and fits in your schedule! You could also run a giveaway with items that fit your new look and appeal to your audience so that new followers can become potential clients too.
Send a Launch Box
A thoughtfully curated launch box is the perfect way to round out your launch announcement. Sending a surprise gift to people you regularly work with, whether that’s key clients or collaborators like other service providers or vendors, is a memorable way to invite them into this new chapter with you. These launch boxes can be as simple or elaborate as you like—think: a custom notecard with your new logo plus a few branded goodies.
We’ve had clients include everything from candles and cookies to branded matchbooks and mini champagne bottles. A tactile experience can go a long way in building connection and leaving a lasting impression. And, it's incredibly ‘grammable.
Blog and newsletter
A new brand is the perfect announcement to slot into your blog post and/or newsletter schedule (or maybe it’s the push you need to get back to it!) You already have most of the work done with your social media messaging—just add a bit more depth and detail to what you’ve already written, then hit publish!
In-person launch event
If possible, consider an in-person launch event at your studio, showroom, office, or a rented space! Throw a party for your brand and include your choice of physical branded goodies to elevate the experience and get your audience excited.
Inspiration
Our past client, Baciare Events, held the most incredible surprise launch party, leading the way for us all on how to announce a rebrand. Founders Ashley and Renée hosted a luncheon party with longtime industry partners that beautifully wove brand colors and inspiration throughout the event design. The new brand was revealed with personalized gift boxes filled with on-brand goodies that guests opened during the welcome toast. The entire event told the brand story in a meaningful and memorable way, full of inspiration to take away for any brand launch event.
Elevate with Branded Touches
In addition to weaving your new logo into your client experience, in items like tissue paper, stickers, boxes, and cards, you can elevate your brand experience with branded swag items. Here are some of our favorites!
