Backstory Wedding Films is a luxury New England cinematographer with a signature moody style.
We were so excited when founder Kyle Boulay approached us for a rebrand to bring his visuals into alignment with his high-caliber work.
We designed a branding suite that encompasses the Backstory Wedding Films’ signature moody tones.
From the rich color palette, to the refined typography, to the meaningful logo design, every element works together to tell the Backstory, well, story.

“B”
A “B” stands for Backstory—the thing every love has! Emphasizing the main letter of the business name makes it more memorable.

An open book is a nod to the open book of new chapters in front of the couple as well as to the importance of couples showing up with real emotions as open books for their films.

Not only will couples press play to relive their wedding day, they can rewind to their own personal Backstory to their love.
